The Opportunity:
Resynergi, a leader in plastics-to-plastics pyrolysis, is seeking a Controller to join our team in its
Sonoma County, California headquarters. Reporting directly to the CFO the ideal candidate will bring strong controllership, start-up experience, a team-oriented mindset, and a nimble, start-up attitude. He/She will have a day-to-day, ongoing impact on company finance operations in a manufacturing setting helping us achieve our deployment ambition.
In this role, you will (Duties and Responsibilities):
• Perform all daily, and monthly core accounting functions with the utmost efficiency. This position is very hands-on.
• Flexibility and open-mindedness, requiring shifting from micro to macro perspective daily.
• Strategic use of software tools and effective prioritization skills are required.
• Establish company policies such as travel and approval processes.
• Work to revise and/or create managerial reporting for the management team to make
informed corporate decisions.
• Detail-oriented, performing checks and balances regularly.
• Position is flexible and ideally onsite regularly in Rohnert Park, CA.
What you will bring:
• Controllership and startup experience
• Ability to speak up and be a strong team player and collaborate across the company to solve problems quickly, learn from those, and feed into updated processes and procedures.
• 5+ years of experience in a controller role and with a startup experience including purchasing and financial software tools e.g. Ramp, Quickbooks, TriNet, operations roles including the ability to inspire others, provide steadfast resolve, and personal integrity.
Required skills and qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial procedures, and cost accounting
• Proficient in using QB/Netsuite/Ramp/other accounting software
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
