Turning Trash Into Treasure

Instead of plastic ending up in landfills and littering our environment we convert it back into its molecular building blocks. Hard-to-recycle plastic waste goes in, valuable feedstock for new plastic products comes out. Using microwaves for heat, we keep the surrounding air, water, and ground clean. Our regeneration technology can be operated safely in the same neighborhoods where cities sort their recycling.

Take A Virtual Tour of Our Facility

Explore our modular recycling lab from the inside. Watch this immersive walk-through to see how our microwave-assisted modules transform hard-to-recycle plastics into their molecular building blocks—safely, cleanly, and on-site.

Manufacturing and Production Partner

Our manufacturing and production partner is Lummus, a global leader in the development and implementation of process technologies and a staple of the petrochemical industry since 1907

Our Proven Solution is Modular

We have decentralized advanced recycling. No factory or facility required = fast, low risk deployment.

We bring our patented modular system to the plastic waste via an 18-wheeler truck. Our Continuous Microwave Assisted Pyrolysis (CMAP) technology is purpose-built to scale with local communities and their Material Recovery Facilities.

Reimagining Plastic as an Alternative to Oil

Plastic waste isn’t going away. It’s predicted to increase by 70% by 2050. That’s why our approach matters. Instead of relying on fossil fuels to create plastic, we’re aiming to make ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’ a profitable business. Let’s build a system where materials never become waste and nature is regenerated.

Get in touch

Let’s change the way the world views plastic waste, from major polluter to reusable resource. It’s time to invest in circular alternatives to petroleum-based plastics.

FAQs

Frequently asked questions

Why is Resynergi moving?

Resynergi is entering its next phase of growth. Our time in Sonoma County was dedicated to research and development (R&D) and incubation, which allowed us to refine our technology and validate its performance. The move to a new location is about scaling operations to meet demand.

What happens to Resynergi’s presence in Rohnert Park?

The Rohnert Park location served as our innovation hub and proved critical for developing our technology. While we will no longer be present there, we carry forward the partnerships, insights, and community experience that shaped our success. We remain deeply grateful to Rohnert Park, Sonoma County, and the SOMO Village community.

Why choose a new location?

Our decision is based on business needs and growth opportunities. Other locations offer the infrastructure and capacity required to scale our operations and expand our impact.

Why aren’t you announcing what location you are moving to?

We are still in the early stages of evaluating several potential sites. Until final decisions are made—and we’ve engaged with regulators, partners, and community stakeholders—it would be premature to announce a specific location. What we can share now is that any move will be carefully planned, fully permitted, and aligned with our long-term growth strategy. We are committed to transparency, and we will provide updates as soon as details are confirmed.

How does this move align with Resynergi’s mission?

Resynergi’s mission is to provide safe and compliant solutions to plastic waste. The move positions us to deploy our technology at a larger scale while maintaining the same commitment to safety, environmental responsibility, and community collaboration.

How will you address concerns that you were “driven out” of Rohnert Park?

We understand the perception, but it’s not accurate. Our Rohnert Park chapter was a success story — a vital R&D incubation phase that gave us the foundation to expand. The move is about scaling responsibly, not retreating.

What do you want to say to the Rohnert Park and Sonoma County community?

Thank you. We are deeply appreciative of the support, collaboration, and partnership we experienced in Sonoma County. The innovation that began there will continue to shape the future of Resynergi as we grow.
